Agricultural Shows

Eyrecourt is an area renowed for it's agricultural tradition and fine produce. The Eyrecourt Agricultural is an opportunity to show case some of this produce. It is a great day to meet old friends and make new ones. Features include food and craft halls, trade stands, competitions in horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, dogs, pets, poultry, cakes, garden, photography, art and much, much more. It's a great family day out.

The Tinahely Agricultural Show is a celebration of the richness of rural Irelands traditions, it's people and their way of life. For it is at this remarkable event that the doors to these experiences are opened. It is a fantastic family day out with live entertainment for kids and adults and an endless list of competitions and displays.

On Saturday the 30th July the 65th annual North Sligo Agricultural Show will be held in Grange. The North Sligo Agricultural Show has a long tradition within the local community.

The Irish Shows Association is the national representative body of Agricultural Shows in Ireland. We have 135 member shows across Ireland, North & South.

Success again for the Annual Bonniconlon Agricultural Show & Gymkhana which took place on Bank Holiday Monday, 2nd August 2010 officially opend by the popular Joe Kennedy, Mayo Person of the Year. This 61st show and gymkhana has again proved itself to be a show of the highest calibre with the numbers attending up on last year despite dodgy weather at times.
